Our Woodford in the Kitchen Guest Chef series continues to delight and inspire our guests by bringing a regional variety of chefs to the area to showcase the use of bourbon in their culinary creations. Bring your sweetheart and join us for an extra special evening!
Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Kandi Sackett at (859) 879.1934 or kandi_sackett@b-f.com. This event is only for those guests who are 21 years of age or older. A credit card number must be given to secure a reservation.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Guests will spend a full, interactive day with Woodford Reserve's Master Distiller, Chris Morris learning the fine art of crafting and appreciating bourbon - America's native spirit. Activities will include an extensive behind the scenes tour of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, an interactive demonstration of using grains to make mash, charring of a barrel and two delicious tastings of a variety of whiskies and bourbons. The class will also feature an appearance from our Chef in Residence, Ouita Michel who will guide you through a Flavor Wheel demonstration. Ouita's culinary team will be providing our guests with a delicious bourbon-inspired lunch as well. Each person in the class will receive a personalized barrelhead and certificate of completion. Guests will begin our sensory experience with a tour of the Woodford Reserve Distillery to discover the five sources of flavor that make our bourbon authentic and unique. Following the tour, stroll back to the Dryer House to enjoy a cocktail while Chef Lee delights your senses with a demonstration and discussion on cooking with bourbon. Evans Orchard Opens for the season!
The Evans Orchard Farm Market opens in May with beautiful hanging baskets, and, depending on the weather, we have fresh, homegrown strawberries within just a matter of days.
